The Eva platform allows for visual inspection and scoring of time-synched presentation of data, provides various analysis functions, and has the ability to export values for analysis. 
EVA includes the flexibility to select multiple signals to present, use tool tips to measure signal changes, auto-scale the presented signals, convert input data to meaningful codes, or apply simple algorithms to specified signals and stripe events that meet the criteria.EVA calculates Power Spectral Densities (PSD) and other EEG variables for each channel every 8 milliseconds. The PSD frequency bands are selectable for presentation and analysis. For example ‘Total Alpha’ (8-12Hz) can be selected, or the signal may be further deconstructed to show ‘Slow Alpha’ (8-10Hz) and ‘Fast Alpha’ (10-12Hz). EVA incorporates testbed event markers as well as other time-synched sensor data such as heart rate, respiration or user behavior. Once the desired channels and frequency bands are displayed, signals can be combined mathematically and algorithms can be defined and tested with reference to event markers (e.g. identify 10% increase in pre-shot alpha and theta power relative to mean inter-shot interval). Furthermore, values such as signal mean, minimum, maximum, area under the curve, linear regression etc. can be exported to a separate file and compared quantitatively to other sensor and performance data.
In addition to extending the software platform to accommodate full integration of a variety of data signals, ABM is continuing to develop functional analysis tools with the goal of making the EVA software platform an intuitive analysis aid to the end the user.
