Mandibular Advancement Device Study
  Advanced Brain Monitoring is currently seeking individuals to participate in a study designed to assess the benefits of treatment with a Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD). To qualify for participation applicants must be “at risk” for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) by questionnaire or have been previously diagnosed with OSA. Participants must either be CPAP failures or not currently using any type of treatment device for OSA. Participants must be 18 years of age of older. Compensation will be provided to eligible participants.

Accelerated Processing Image Detection Study
  Advanced Brain Monitoring is currently seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 70 to participate in a study designed to develop a rapid screening system for images. This computer based study uses wireless EEG technology to measure memory, alertness, learning, workload, and decision-making. Compensation will be provided to eligible participants.

High Throughput Study
 

Advanced Brain Monitoring is looking for healthy people ages 18-70 to participate in a study to acquire brainwave and heart rate recordings associated with alertness, learning, workload, decision-making and memory. This study includes partial sleep deprivation, meaning you will be required to decrease one night of sleep to two consecutive hours total.

 

You will participate in 2 sessions, each lasting about 7 hours.

 

You will be paid $300 for completing two 7 hour sessions.  If both sessions are not completed, you will be compensated at a rate of $10/hour.

 

All testing will be conducted at ABM in Carlsbad.
