Dr. Djordje Popovic, MD, PhD, Director of Research

Dr. Popovic is the Director of Research at Advanced Brain Monitoring.  He works on developing signal processing techniques and algorithms for ABM’s  wireless EEG/EKG system and the Apnea Risk Evaluation System (ARES), an in-home diagnostic for sleep apnea and other sleep disorders.

Prior to joining ABM, Dr. Popovic held positions in the Laboratory for Physical Anthropology, University of Belgrade, the Department of Cardiology, University of Aachen, Aachen, Germany, the Institute for Sensory-Motor Integration, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark and the Institute for Oncology and Radiology, Belgrade, Serbia and the Alfred E. Mann Institute, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California.
